This painting and surrounding body of work was based on two dreams that I meshed together to create an open narrative. I initially began by creating a diorama made out of local plants, sticks, and cutout images. "Chicken Farm" was the first of this series, setting the scene and familiarizing the viewer with symbolism that will be seen over and over again.
