July 17, 2017: I was walking down a trail when I looked up and saw a massive bird flying into the sun. It covered it and the sun got swallowed by blackness. A second very large bird was behind the first one. I thought it was pretty cool, but then I got the feeling that I was being watched. I turned around and realized that a mama cassowary was nesting her eggs in the middle of the path I had been walking down. I knew I needed to get out of there as soon as possible or she would charge me. And then I was driving a jeep down a different trail but there were rattlesnakes everywhere.
